Bobbi is passionate about uplifting the business community and championing nonprofit organizations at every level, including local, state, national, and even global. Her dedication shines through as she works tirelessly to connect and inspire others to make a difference!

Her community and nonprofit involvement includes various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Notable contributions include her work with the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, where she has participated in initiatives such as the Black & Brown Business Summit Pitch Competition, the Reignite Community event, and the Inclusive Economic Development series. She is also involved with the Downtown Council, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Urbandale Chamber, Dress for Success, Iowa Bird Rehabilitation, NAWBO Iowa, AWC, the Heritage Carousel Foundation, the Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa, and the American Red Cross, both locally and nationally.

She is a graduate of Leadership Iowa (2025-2026) and has served on the ABI Leadership Iowa Alumni Board. Additionally, she is an alumnus of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute / Lead DSM (1994-1995).

Bobbi Segura, entrepreneur, connector, leader.

Bobbi Segura is a powerful entrepreneur and influential leader who has made a significant impact in both the business and nonprofit sectors!

In 1998, she became a partner at the renowned graphic design studio, Designgroup, Inc., where her creativity and innovation thrived. In 2008, Bobbi took a bold step and founded B. Segura Consultants, subsequently joining the dynamic team at Plum Communications in 2009.

Her journey continued with Women Lead Change as a dedicated volunteer. By 2015, she was driving change at WLC as their Regional Manager. Bobbi organized impactful conferences and leadership workshops throughout Central Iowa and spearheaded Women Connect advisory councils across multiple states. After a decade of successful fundraising, she confidently stepped into retirement in 2025, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of inspiration!
